If you want to make it to a regional, you’ll have to make those plans early. UVS Games has been making upgrades to their Organized Play events for years now. The prize wall is being loaded up. Championship belts are awarded to nationals winners. There are cosplay competitions and scavenger hunts. Going to a regional keeps getting better and better. So, has it helped?

If Louisville is any sign, YES! The July regional has already hit the max player cap of 160 players. I was even surprised to see almost 100 people shell out the money for the expensive plane ticket to Albuquerque last month. But players are making the trip. If you were planning to hit a regional this year and haven’t yet, there’s still opportunities.

If you have your passport, the next NA Major will be at Critical Hit Gaming Lounge in Toronto on September 6th. That will be another tight squeeze as the max player cap is only 96. If you’re hoping for the cap to get lifted once it’s hit, DON’T! The regional is at a card shop and 96 is the max capacity they can allow.

We don’t know where the regionals for October and December will be yet. When they’re announced I’ll have it for you right here. Until then, I’ll see you on the tables!
