We all knew it was coming, the only question was “When?”

One With Nature (OWN) gets the Greyscale Filter this month, banned from play effective June 12th. I agree with the change because of what’s coming. OWN plays with a LOT of characters coming out in Undaunted Raid and the reliance on it are only going to get worse.

If you haven’t played much against OWN, you probably read this card and think it doesn’t seem too crazy. Giving your opponent’s block mod +2 is the same as +2 speed, right? And there’s plenty of cards that do that. The discard seems like an even exchange… Well there’s more to it. OWN is hard to interact with. There aren’t many cards that modify Block Modifiers. I can only think of Determined off the top of my head. So, you’re +2 to the block is basically unstoppable 99% of the time. Then, if you can stack multiple OWN’s, each card you discard turn medium attacks into REAL PROBLEMS. When it’s played by your rival, it feels like a NGE (Negative Gameplay Experience).
