Hello Heroes! Welcome to My Hero Meta. I’m Shock and I’ll keep you up to date on the latest MHA news and give you every tool, deck, ruling, and opinion that I have to get you to the top of your game! I can’t wait to engage with as many of you as I can.
I’m a veteran of Yu-Gi-Oh and Dragon Ball Super, but I didn’t like how those games diminished the value of skill and overinflated their cards price tags, while not responding to the players that made them popular.
I ordered the MHA Rival decks in 2020 on a whim not knowing what Universus even was. After 18 months, they arrived one day on my doorstep. Initially I didn’t have high hopes. The advertising didn’t seem solid at all, so I thought the game would be lackluster as well. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the gameplay to the redemption system to the incredible community, this is by far the best TCG I’ve ever had the pleasure to be apart of.
I gladly started making content for the game shortly after on YouTube and in 2023, I launched MyHeroMeta.com. I run the MHA CCG LGS for Gaming Giant in Fairfax, VA where we have one of the largest player bases on the East coast.
