Street Fighter 6 Sell Sheets LIVE!

It’s been a few months since we got the Crazy Release Trailer from UVS Games for 2025. We are fast approaching the first set release of the line with Critical Role next month. So what’s that mean? Time to look at what’s next!

Street Fighter 6 is dropping on July 18th and we have art! Not of the cards, but we do have the mats and the packaging, which gives a lot of insight on what we can expect.

The characters for SF6 have been a bit of a mystery since the announcement. It was likely that Chun’Li and Ryu would make an appearance as they were in the trailer, but who would they be paired with? Luke & Jamie make their Universus debut alongside Ryu and Chun-Li, respectively. The former is interesting as Luke marks the second appearance for English voice actor Aleks Le this year, the voice of the Shadow Monarch Sung Jinwoo from the Solo Leveling decks this January. That’s just 1 more reason I’ll be tracking down his autograph this year…

It also looks like Ryu and Chun-Li have the Brawler keyword that we’ve seen in Heroes of Exandria. Will Jamie and Luke have that keyword as well? Probably, but only time will tell…

Once again, the mats look INSANE! The restraint on the color for Ryu’s mat to let the red pop is top tier. The foreground art is much more horizontal than past mats that have been reused on cards and the marketing material does say “Exclusive designs featuring your favorite Street Fighter 6 characters from the UniVersus card game!“, leading me to think this art was made just for the mat. However, the mats for Ryu and Chu-Li do look like the cards in the window for the Challenger decks, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

The Street Fighter Foil packs will feature Alt-Arts or All Foil cards, going back to a limited number of Alts. Earlier this year, the Solo Leveling decks features Alt-Arts for all the cards in the deck. It seems I was a bit too optimistic to think that might be the norm going forward. I’ll be keeping my eyes out for the Redemption Store exclusive promo that will be accompanying the release in just 5 months.

Welp, that’s all for this Street Fighter update. Tomorrow we’ll be back with more Heroes of Exandria reveals and info leading up to the release! Until then, I’ll see you on the tables!
