If you’ve been following the blog, you’ve seen the first 10 cards from the Dark Hero Challenger Series featuring Deku as he learns to master the vestiges of One For All. UVS Games released another 7 of the cards last week, and today we have the last 4 cards to round out the deck that will be on the shelves October 11th alongside the My Hero Academia movie: You’re Next. So, let’s see what we got!

And with that, each of the 8 previous holders get their own foundation to help Midoriya in his fight. The 6th dodging the water symbol is too bad for Mina II, but even still it could be a worthwhile consideration in some decks. The 2nd however, doesn’t have the “What If?” syndrome a lot of other cards have. His static being able to be used while committed is super strong. Most times, flipping a card down in your card pool won’t be much of a drawback and +3 speed is a nice boost before it gets used for EX or Immortal Shapeshifter fodder.

Tattered Costume is a hard card to rate. It’s going to be meta-dependent for sure. Only hitting keyword abilities is a pretty big restriction. However, it’s great when you need to side it for actions.

Breaker 2 is a wonderful thing. Such power. It makes this mediocre attack an actual consideration with it’s strong block modifier. We’ll definitely be seeing Smokescreen Charge find it’s way into some lists as we draw closer to Nats.
