October is fast approaching and alongside MHA’s 4th movie, UVS will be releasing the Challenger Deck following at The Dark Hero arc. These cards will follow Deku’s training to master each of his predecessor’s quirks before his final showdown with All For One. Today, I’ll be previewing the original and ALT-art versions for 10 of the 20 cards in the deck.

Midoryia, On The Move is the first character that Transforms on both sides of his character, enabling him to use both speed boosts on one attack. He takes a page out of Mina Ashido’s book and likes to see face-down cards in the card pool in oder to use his kit. It’ll be interesting to see how deep into Mina’s kit some players dive. The Enhance on the front side that turns every Foundation into a Specialist of Sound is pretty awesome.

Wielding One For All seems like a pretty awesome card for many decks that rely on strong Foundations that flip. It’s not quite to the level of a stable since it doesn’t replace itself, but allowing players to use a single Enhance multiple times during a given attack could be massive in the right hands.
