Universus is shooting for Top Shelf licenses! Don’t believe me? Well feast your eyes…

The Joker has will soon be available in Universus! UVS has always been a lure for a wide range of IPs, but this is … well, Crazy! If you’re unaware, Suicide Squad ISEKAI will debut at the end month (June 27th) with a special screening at Anime Expo in Los Angeles over the 4th of July weekend. Universus has seemingly capitalized on the most popular and most psychotic criminal getting adapted for his first anime by capturing their new look in card stock.

The card looks incredible. When I saw it, I forgot to read the text. All I was thinking about was how to get it in my collection as quickly as possible! The foil patterns (finally) seem as blinding and bright as the personalities that they capture. With a slate filled with anime releases this year, it seems appropriate to add in Batman’s toughest foe with an anime of his own. Ans did I mention… he’s not alone!

Would Mista J ever be complete without his punching bag?… I meeeean his loving better half? Harley’s card looks just as awesome. It’s been fun to see the first few people react to seeing these images. No matter where they are in the game, everybody wants to get their hands on these cards. Even with effects that probably won’t net them any Regional Tops any time soon, the gravity of their names are enough draw us in. So how do we get them?

Well, you could find yourself in LA at Anime Expo in 2 weeks. In addition to Warner Bros. Japan’s showing of Suicide Squad ISEKAI, UVS Games will also be in attendance passing out copies of the Crowned Couple of Crime as they teach new players the game. Can’t make it to LA? No problem. These cards will be available in the Redemption Shop later on in the month. There’s no telling how many points they’ll cost. We’ve seen cards at 60 points sell out in a couple days. Every one I talk to says they HAVE to cost more than normal. How much do you think is appropriate? Let me know in the comments. I’d pay 1000 myself.
