JetBurn hits the streets in less than 24 hours, but as anyone who plays this game knows, there’s always an eye on the future. UVS Games has come out with a new video segment called Fist Form (sweet name) that will give insight to the coming news, card reveals, and more from the creators themselves. This month, we got our first look at The Dark Tournament…

First up, we get a look at the Chrome Rare version of our protagonist’s Character card. Continuing on with our new tradition of Characters filling in our Chrome slots, Yusuke makes his appearance. One difference seems to be there are 4 Chrome Rare cards this time around.

Alternate Art cards make their return in TDT, and with some added flare. It’s pretty cool to see the art leaving the standard monochrome backgrounds as the art team continues to take the drip to the next level.

Power continues to find it’s way into our trunks. Genkai’s Guidance shows off the XSR art, new placements for the kanji, and a pretty scary effect for anyone trying to play a devastating string of attacks. Don’t miss the fact that this card also shows of FIVE resource symbols.

The Dark Tournament will showcase 39 reprints of cards from old Yu Yu Hakusho sets. To make room for these cards, The Dark Tournament expands to 12 cards, adding 1 slot for a “Time-Shifted” reprint.

Some of these Time-Shifted reprints have the old set logo from first Yu Yu Hakusho set. These cards will only be legal in the formats that allow the old YYH set, namely just Retro. So, these are mainly serving as a strong flex from the art team. Pretty strong flex if u ask me. 💪💪
