If you’re newer to UVS, welcome. The Hero League Championship (HLC) is the equivalent of Worlds in other games. It’s the final boss of Organized Play for the top player, yet still hosting plenty of spectacle and opportunity for non-contenders to attend and enjoy. It’s still 3 months away, but I’ve asked UVS about a hundred times for more info on it this year. HLC was clearly in for changes from last year. I’ll be writing my editorial on all the details listed here and changes coming soon (when I get back home), but until then here is the MOUNTAIN of info that just got released from UVS! And if you’re not planning on playing in the Main Event, there’s plenty of info for everyone else down below…

2023 Universus Hero League Championship
Location: Orlando, Florida
Venue: Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort – 12205 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32836
Date: February 2nd, 2024 – February 4th, 2024
Format: My Hero Academia Spotlight
The Main Event consists of the Top 32 players from around the world. 28 spots were given out through Nationals Top Finishers (16 – NA, 8 – UK, 4 – OCE) and the last 4 spots will be filled with LCQs at the HLC on February 1st.

Need help getting to Orlando?

UVS Games will be hosting TWO WebCam Tournaments that will take place between the launch of Jet Burn and HLC!

December 2nd – 3rd, 2023 | January 6th – 7th, 2024

These tournaments will grant players the opportunity to complete their Nationals Promo collection by offering the following new and exciting Promos. But that’s not all. The top performing players from each event will earn a Travel Voucher that can be used to travel to HLC in February 2024! More information and registration will go live on November 8th, 2023.

Four characters enter, but only 1 can be victorious! This event will require you to challenge your deck building skills within the current standard format. Spike, Faye, Vash, Or Wolfwood from our Challenger Deck Series MUST be your starting character for every game in this event.

On Demand Triple Threat
Cost: $15
Triple Threat is a 1v1v1 format where you compete to be the first person to get any rival down to zero health. But be careful, even while attacking one rival the other rival has a chance to respond or even block. This fast paced single game style will be sure to keep all players on their toes and coming back for more!
